I was pretty happy Emma went first on the “I do’s”. Not because I didn’t want to go first, but because she said “I will”, which was the grammatically correct response to the question asked by the celebrant. Which made me realise I would have said “I do”, and that would have been weird. Prime example on how we compliment each other!
It’s been longer than normal since my last blog, but sometimes I don’t feel like writing, and I want this to be fun, not a chore. At least now I’ll have some stuff to write about, instead of just filling a page for the sake of it. And the biggest thing that happened these last two weeks was of course the long anticipated arrival of Zoey!
It’s been a busy week since my arrival. Emma and I have been working on the last of the paperwork needed for my visa, things are finally speeding up! And since I’m not allowed to be in Australia upon lodging, her parents have gifted us a relaxing week on Bali. I can’t settle anywhere like this! (that’s a joke of course).
